Pathways to Apprenticeship Completion in the Trades

Focused on the retention, progression and completion of skilled trades.

The Pathways to Apprenticeship Completion in the Trades (The PACT) is an applied research project that focuses on identifying gaps, testing learning tools and methods for apprentices to use on their pathway to attaining their trade qualification or Red Seal endorsement.

The PACT uses innovative learning strategies and career navigation tools in support of apprenticeship retention, progression, and completion rates.

We are dedicated to supporting individuals on their educational journey to a rewarding career in the trades.

The Ways We Help Apprentices

Learning Support: We understand that everyone’s path to success is unique. That’s why we work with apprentices to identify a set of study practices to fit their needs and strengthen their learning outcomes.

Trade Exploration: For apprentices that have experience in the skilled trades, but think another trade may be a better fit, our Redirect and Reskill supports can help them find a perfect fit within the world of skilled trades.

If you are looking for someone to walk with you through the next steps of your apprenticeship training, we may be able to help.

The PACT is a no-cost service for apprentices in BC.
