Alternative Recognition of Credentials (ARC)

The Alternative Recognition of Credentials (ARC) initiative offered skilled immigrants and newcomers an accelerated foreign credential assessment that included skills mapping experience and training to BC jobs, trades certification, and regulatory structures.

Our goal was to ensure that skilled newcomers could quickly and effectively access job opportunities that maximized previous training and employment experience through the use of effective assessments, and supported career planning.

The project successfully supported over 20 newcomers on their pathway to employment in Canada.
