About CFBC

Established in 2012, the Construction Foundation is a registered Canadian charity.

Charitable Registration:  BN 83026 6300

We contribute to the communities in which we live and work through our commitment to industry focused education, training, and research.

Since our inception, our fundraising campaigns have raised millions of dollars to outfit British Columbia’s shop classes with new equipment, provide driver training to youth in and from care, connect educators with professional development opportunities, award worthy young people with bursaries to continue their trades education, and provide much needed support to educational programs.

CFBC offers a customized approach to navigating work and life.

Customized Connection & Support

At CFBC, we meet people wherever they are in their career journey. We get to know the people, communities and organizations we work with. We discover who they are and where they want to go. From there, we co-create new pathways forward.

One size doesn’t fit all and that is why we are committed to customizing pathways that are relevant – here and now – for British Columbians.

CFBC in Action

The Construction Foundation of BC is a registered Canadian charity. In addition to making gifts to qualified donees, we perform charitable activities in support of our three focus areas, Education, Training, and Research.

We are committed to supporting the advancement of the communities in which we live and work through our engagement in charitable initiatives, and our commitment to skilled trades training, education and research.

Education & Training

By promoting the advancement of industry training and career development, we are helping to develop the industry’s workforce of tomorrow.

Research

We support research projects focused on innovation in the built environment including, but not limited to, the enhancement of safety, improvement of industry practices, and increased focus on sustainability of the construction industry.

Good Works

We engage in charitable initiatives that support projects in the communities in which we live and work.
