May 24, 2024 (Langford, BC) – The Construction Foundation of BC’s (CFBC) Welcome Exchange program held its most recent job fair at Langford Business Centre this past week, catered towards immigrants in the local community in search of their next career opportunity. The event saw an impressive number of attendees lining up to network with local businesses and organizations.
Approximately 150 attendees received information from employers who ranged from excavating, to university institutions and school districts, about potential positions available.
The Welcome Exchange team would like to thank media partner, WorkLink Employment Society, as well as WorkBC Westshore and Sooke, Vancouver Island Hispanic Network Society and Help Ukraine Vancouver Island Society for their assistance with interpretation services and registering participants.
