Western JETS Leadership Award

The Western JETS Leadership Award is given annually by the Construction Foundation of BC, to recognize outstanding leadership among electrical students in British Columbia.  This training grant aims to support and develop the next generation of leaders in the electrical industry.

To apply, students must submit an essay detailing why they deserve the award, along with a recommendation letter from a Red Seal-certified industry professional. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Applicants should be a member of IBEW local 230, 993 or 1003.

  • Application deadline: July 31
  • Winners selected: August 31

One grant will be awarded each year in the amount of $1400.

Applicants are asked to submit a 500-word essay explaining why they believe they are deserving of the leadership award, highlighting their qualifications and experiences.
